This concert took place on 28th May in Egerkingen, Switzerland as the opening concert of Season 2023 by Musica Cordis Konzertreihe in Saint Martin's Church, Egerkingen.

The harpsichord was made by Titus Crijnen in 1996.

 

"Musical Friendships" is a series of thematic concerts within the concert series "Musica Cordis Konzertreihe Egerkingen" itself, dedicated to composers who were friends and influenced one another's artistic development. It started with Händel and Telemann in 2022 followed by Bach and Telemann in 2023. Next season's Musical Friendships concert is going to be dedicated to Vivaldi and his contemporaries who arranged Vivaldi's orchestral music for various keyboard instruments.
